The Ceiling Fan Remote Replacement is not a universal remote, but rather a transmitter. It is designed to work with the original remote of the UC7078T FAN-HD CHQ7078T UC7078TR UC7078TUDL RR7078TR with reverse function. This package does not include a receiver or a 9V battery.
The Hunter Fan Remote Replacement is designed to separately control the ceiling fan's light brightness, fan speed, and reverse function. Ensure that your original remote matches the picture before purchasing. The light dimmer button controls the light brightness, and there are four buttons (HI, MED, LO, FAN OFF) to control the fan speed and turn it off.
The Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Remote is compatible with and replaces various Hampton Bay ceiling fan parts, including FAN-HD, UC7078T, HD5, or L3H2003FANHD L3H2014FANHD L3H2010FANHD, FAN-HD5. It requires the FCCID/Model: L3H2003FANHD/FAN-HD, UC7078T L3H2014FANHD L3H2010FANHD or FAN-HD6 with Reverse, otherwise the remote control may not match your receiver.
All of our remote controls are easy to operate. To set up the remote, remove the battery cover, and there is a series of "DIP" switches (4). Slide the switches to match the same pattern as the old remote, replace the battery, and the new remote should work.
The Reverse button on our remote controls allows you to change the direction of the ceiling fan, but this function requires your fan receiver to be compatible and support the reverse feature.
